I’m not sure where to start. This episode seems to be a little on the over-edited side. I’m not sure everyone got the best cut, after all, a story arc has to be told. But no matter, let’s address the heart of it:
Do I think Angelo was throwing Kenny et al. under the bus? Of course. [...]

Now that’s what I call an introductory episode: awesome challenges, light on the gimmickry and solid editing. To be fair though, the elimination challenge was still in the style of Top Caterer. I guess you can’t change the nature of the beast.
The top of the pack has already established itself: Angelo, Kenny, Alex and Kevin, [...]

Nothing but nothing signals the advent of the new Top Chef season like Skillet Doux’s Power Rankings.
In my opinion, Skillet Doux’s coverage of Top Chef is unparalleled. An episode isn’t truly finished until I get a little autopsy action from them.

I am the worst kind of chef groupie. If it weren’t weird, I’d probably keep the picture of Chef Keller and myself on my nightstand. So when Foodie Atlanta was invited to go meet Marcus Samuelsson on June 17th, I grinned.

For pre-show and post-show action, the always excellent Skillet Doux [...]

Simply stated, my Woodfire Grill dinner experience was nothing short of [...]

As is usually the case with Top Chef finalists, Kevin Gillespie’s restaurant The Woodfire Grill experienced a massive surge in traffic. Although I’ve been meaning to go for a while, this outpouring of love and/or curiosity by the fans made is very difficult to get a decent set of reservations. Searching for a decent two-top [...]

The Green Market For Piedmont Park is going on this Saturday, from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Kevin Gillespie (Woodfire Grill, my winning choice for Top Chef) is supposed to be doing the chef demo at 11:00am.
From the website:
Spread out along the dogwood-lined streets of Atlanta’s Piedmont Park, Green Market is an open-air farmer’s market featuring locally [...]
